Thanksgiving 2010

Thanksgiving is always a great time of year. This year we went down to Cedar City to visit Greg's Grandma Cecile. I love going down there to visit, even though it's only a few hours away it just far enough away to feel like a vacation. This year we brought my sister Ashley with us to enjoy the fun. As always there was great food and a lot of laughs. I love that I married into a great family that I feel at home with when I can't go to Kansas. While down in Cedar City Greg's cousin Jenny taught us how to make these really cute hair bows that are so easy to make.
This Thanksgiving I also experienced Wal-Mart on Black Friday. Even though they only thing I got was towels it was hilarious. The highlight of the Wal-mart was the guy wearing a camouflage jacket, missing half his teeth that for some reason needed almost thirty Crockpots. I don't know how much I would trust a $3.00 Crockpot but hey it was a steal. So I ended up with towels, Ashley got a George Foreman Grill, and Jim got some heating blankets, and a lot of games. I would say we did really well!
As per tradition I had the opportunity to help put up Grandma Cecile's Christmas trees. I think I could put up hundreds of Christmas trees, I love them. Well I hope you guys had a great Thanksgiving as well. We sure do have a lot to be thankful for!
