Greg's Birthday!!!!!!!

Greg turned the big 25!!!!! For his birthday I got him the first and second season of 30 Rock, which he claims is better than The Office. I don’t know if I agree with him but I do enjoy watching it with him and listening to him laugh really hard. It makes my day. So I have to give myself some credit, I had the hardest time getting the first season. I thought I would be a smart shopper and price around to see where I could get the best deal for both seasons. I found one store that was the cheapest for the first season and one that was cheaper for the second season. Let’s just say the smart shopper thing bit me in the butt. I bought the second season at the one store and then went to get the first season at the other store. By the time I got to the store, they were sold out. I spent the next four days searching for a store that was not sold out of the first season. I finally got the last copy reserved at Target!! Who knew that 30 Rock was that popular?
That evening went out to dinner with Greg’s family to celebrate his birthday. It was really fun. The night before, Greg and I had gone out to eat just the two of us so that we could celebrate together. Greg is amazing and I am so grateful to have him in my life. He is so special to me. I love Greg Reese!!!!!

Ps. Just ignore the Utah hoodie.

Christmas

Here is our beautiful Christmas Tree. Thanks to Greg’s mom we had a little bit of Christmas brought to our apartment. I love looking at it with the lights off. One of my favorite things about Christmas is the trees. It would not be Christmas without a tree. I have been so lucky this Christmas I have had the opportunity to help decorate multiple trees. My favorite one by far was Greg’s grandma’s tree. She has a tree with nothing but Lenox glass ornaments. It is so pretty and the best feature is that is spins so that you can see the whole tree. I love everything about Christmas. I have to say it is probably one of my favorite holidays. I love how everyone at Christmas is so happy. Even though I complain about it I do love the snow. Not so much the driving it but everything else is awesome. Growing up in Kansas my siblings and I always hoped and prayed for snow on Christmas. It was rare that we ever got enough snow that actually acumualted more than an inch. In Utah, however, they have the seasons right. There is the perfect amount of snow for Christmas. I am so thankful for the birth of our Savior and for the opportunity that we have been given to celebrate and honor his name!

On Halloween this year we spent most of the day with Greg's family. Before we went to his house we did get a visit from Charles and Valerie. They had taken Sydney Trick-or-treating and made a visit to our apartment so we could see her cute costume. She was a ballerina, and boy was she the cutest ballerina ever. The rest of the night we went to Greg's house. Greg's dad had a mask and was scaring little kids from the ward when they came up to the door. It was so funny. Greg and I then went out to eat with Greg's parents. We ended up going to a Mongolian restaurant. It was quite interesting. I have never eaten out on Halloween and now I know why. Let's just say there are some really crazy people in this world and they all come out on Halloween.

Our Apartment

Greg and I our living in Provo while we both are finishing school. We have had so much fun setting up our first apartment. Although it is small it's our home. Greg made sure that we had all of our essentials the bed, our TV and his DVDs. Our first purchases included a TV stand and a book shelve. I enjoyed watching him put them together. When we first got to our apartment our apartment's carpet was really gross so the management told us that they would be putting in new carpet. They failed to mention that it would take a month so we were without furniture for about a month. Greg's parents were great and supplied a lot of the furniture. For our first apartment it's not too bad.

Our Honeymoon!!!!

Flaming Gorge
For our honeymoon Greg and I went to Flaming Gorge. Greg's grandma owns a cabin up there and lent it out to us for a week. We loved every minute of it. We relaxed and enjoyed the scenery. We went swimming and even took a dam tour. Our only hiccup was a flat tire about three days into the trip. We did a little off- roading and the Civic's tire just couldn't handle it. We really enjoyed everything about it!!

This one is at a lookout by the cabin.

US

So I thought that you guys need to hear how Greg and I met. We first met each other in September of 2007. It was a Sunday night and my friend Karlie had asked if I wanted to go and play games with this group of guys that she had been hanging out with from work. I decided that I had nothing better to do so I went. This guy Tyson came and pick me and Karlie up and then drove us to a guy named Marshall's house. When we got there we sat on the couch for like a good thirty minutes until I ask why we were just sitting there. Marshall said that his friend Greg was just watching the end of a Red Sox game and that we were waiting for him. My first impression was why the heck are we waiting for this one guy? Let's just leave him. That was until he walked out. As soon as I saw him I immediately texted Karlie (who was sitting on the other end of the couch) and said that he was so good looking. The rest of the night was really fun we just hung out and played games.
So we kept on meeting up with these guys for a couple of reasons. First, Karlie was really starting to like Marshall, and they were really fun. There was not a night that we hung out that Greg did not make me laugh. So I started to really like Greg. He was so funny and good looking. We had a few complications, with other girls and other guys getting in the way of us finally dating. But eventually we found each other. The first night we held hands was amazing we were watching the movie, "Without a Paddle." Greg was sitting beside me it took him half of the movie to finally hold my hand. When he finally did it was AMAZING!!! After I held his hand I still wasn't sure whether I actually really liked him enough to date him. It only took me a week to figure out that I really needed to go for Greg. Yes... I know I'm kind of retarded. The next week I knew that I liked him a lot. So I just went for it. The rest is history from that day on, except for Christmas break when I went to Kansas, I was never without him. We grew to love and appreciate one another. In February we decided that we loved each other enough that we wanted to be together for eternity!!! So in March we flew down to Kansas so that Greg could meet my family. My family completely loves Greg!!! We are getting married August eighth in the Manti temple. I could not be happier. Greg is the most amazing person I have met. He loves me so much that is just unimaginable. He is the greatest person ever. I am so lucky that my Heavenly Father has blessed me with such a man!!! I LOVE GREG REESE!!!
